Just to share with you two exercice or inert french M37 grenades.
The OF (white one) and the DF (orange one) with their container.

Hi,
Trying to answer your question, the DF model is solid (its weight is the proof) but there is - as it can be seen on the picture above - a screw.

For the OF model, it seems to be empty (very light) but with a screw too.
