Is this still used i the UK. Is this a training aid blank firing simulation, seen some about but not sure of their use.

The Haley & Weller 'E Series' grenades were able to be hand thrown or used in a trip-wire mechanism or fired electrically by command wire. As far as I am aware the only 'E Series' grenade trialed experimentally by a British unit was one of the Incendiary models.
