Your projectile seems to be a British? 64 Pr Shrapnel in nice condition.
Listed dimensions are 6.22" over body diameter and 6.48" over the studs. 13.7" to 14.0" long without fuze.
The nose should be threaded for a fuze if shrapnel.
Look at the studs for a date and maker.

Please can you give the length details on the likely 80 Pdr RML.
All shells have extractor holes ,three in number in the same line as the studs . The mark showing the pattern of shell will be shown between an extractor hole and line of studs . With the paint this may well be difficult to attain .

Hello all my 64pds have the extractor holes but this bigger shell doesn’t . The paint is very thin and I can clearly see an orange/reddish paint under the black . This shell is also un fired and the studs are large like the palliser studs made of brass and bigger than the 64pr copper studs . It is about the same height as my 64prs but as you can see from the pics it’s wider also none of my 7 & 9 pr shells have extractor holes
