MILCOREM,

I think it's an HE projectile, not a Star Shell. Fuzes used 18P or 45P or 44. Possibly a No. 202.

4 in F.A. - 4 inch Fixed Artillery (the Royal Navy also had 4 inch Q.F. Separate ammunition.)

IX N.T./N - Mark nine projectile, Night Tracer/Naval.

F.S. - Forged Steel

R.L. - Royal Laboratory (manufacturer)

11.11.32 - Date of Manufacture

Lot 16(?) - Lot number

bonjour,
après vérification, il manquerait sur mon obus l'adaptateur,
le fond de l obus est manquant aussi
avait-il peut-être le même dessin entre l’éclairant et le H.E. ?
merci de vos réponses
Hello,
after verification, it would fail on my adapter shells
the bottom of the shell is also missing
Had he perhaps even drawing between lighting and H.E.?
Thank you for your answers
Pierre
