The attached photo is a tinplate inner container that held 100 Igniters Safety Fuze Electric (ISFE), in other words electrically fired items for igniting safety fuze. I was trained to use them when checking that various equipment circuits would work and work in the correct sequence. The ISFE had a short, cylindrical copper body with attached match head composition and a short length of twin flex for attaching to firing cable.
