Interesting read on the re-work of German 3,7 cm shell cases

Source: Invenio Bundeswehr archive PH 2 1187 "Dienstanweisung für die Feuerwerker der Artillerie" dated 1899 with addendums.

It covers multiple items but my interest was in the thorough description of how 3,7 cm shell cases where re-worked, including the description of the "Pl P" head stamp (Platzpatrone), the marking of re-used cases with a "punch" and the dimensional features for a shel case to be allowed as Platzpatrone.

I translated the 3,7 cm part and attached it.
