Doing an online search for new ordnance sources I ran across a website for an ordnance museum in St. Jo Texas, south-east of Wichita Falls. What caught my eye was the fact they sell ordnance in their gift shop!
The owner, Craig, claims it is the largest privately owned artillery collection in the US. Pieces range from WWI to modern, ranging from mortars, tank main guns, cannons, naval guns, anti-aircraft, shoulder-fired AT weapons and some self-propelled pieces. It's a work in progress as new pieces seem to come in every few days.
The gift shop is amazing... TM-62 mines, various Bulgarian mines I'm unfamiliar with, mortars, RPG-7's and RPG-2's, a wide range of T-72 main gun rounds, smallest rounds start at 12.7mm, largest I believe is 152mm. He sells live ammo and owns a gun shop as well as few stores down, which is almost a museum in itself.
Stop in and check it out!
