Is it an ordnance ?

This it not ordnance.. it's a insulator for a powermast.. the glas is broken, but you can still see some remains. The picture below shows how it look like when it's new.

A brilliant observation of a really obscure item that not many people get a good look at. Anyway, so it is not ordnance, but when found in situ my advice is to treat it AS ordnance - especially if there are fat copper cables lying about.
