hello, i thought the casting looked a little rough and there`s no laquer coating.

Most castings are not perfect and over time the laquer and markings do wear off as well as non collectors playing with them and cleaning them up. If you are not happy with it, I will take it off your hands.

I can see traces of shellac on the base. Looks fine to me too.
