Isit the same "GL"?

Hello everyone.
This week-end, I've got a couple of 4.5Inch MK I, WW1, one of the manufacturers is GL (pic1&2), and a couple of 37mm M16,ww2, one of the manufacturers is also GL (pic5).
Is it the same maker?
On the 4.5Inch, the two primers are stamped KN 12/17 B, I think they have been refilled at the same time.
Thanks for your answers.
Regards.
Dandebur.

Dandebur,

The stylised 'N' at about 3 O'clock on the 4'5" case is the recognised trade mark of the New York Air Brake Co., New York. KN is Kings Norton.

TimG,
Thank you very much for your reply.
Do you know who is GL?
I show another example of its production. It seems that the New York Air Brake Co was also a subcontractor for ALCO on 18PrII. (pic 2).
Regards.

I'm confused. It appears to me that the 4.5 inch casing is UK manufacture and marked as such, and the 37mm case is U.S. manufacture and U.S. marked to include the Ordnance crossed cannons mark.

Two different manufacturers and countries!

Am I missing something here?

Good morning everybody.
Thank you at all for your opinions.
But finally, is it the same firm GL who acted during WW1 and WW2?
Best Regards.
Dandebur.
