Not to mention it was made in 1969, and both by stenciling and color it was made (or relegated) to training use only.

The top bit seems to mean 30-550-DEFA-210. So 30 mm, 550 series cannon, the דפר meaning DEFA (aka dft or defer), and then the projectile code. The 210 is a bit weird as the first generation TP rounds with tombac driving bands were 2101 (M1 design projectile) and 2102 (M2 projectile) according to the book I have? Checking the same book, the rear of this projectile doesn't match either the 2101 and 2012. The cavity suggests the presence of a tracer (now removed), which wasn't present in either the 2101 or 2102.

Your last Hebrew letter, on the left is incorrect. You have a "Resh (R)" which makes it DEFAR, but on the round is a "Hey (H)" which completes the word to DEFA. The bottom line says, from right to left: LOT (10/69 - 65 T.Z.)(IMI) TRAINING

I'll take your word for it, as I don't read, write, or transliterate Hebrew. I just tried to input the closest characters to what I could see and unfortunately got it wrong. Still means DEFA thankfully.

Unfortunately it doesn't solve the model of the projectile. I take it that it's either an IMI-specific design, or not one in the book I have.
