Israeli artillery in Gaza

Hi everyone

Has anyone been watching the TV footage of the Israeli shelling in Gaza? Has anyone any idea the nature of those airburst projectiles they are using? When they explode they seem to shoot out upwards of 30 or so flame pots with a narrow white smoke trail behind. I thought at first that they were White Phosphorus, but there doesn't seem to be much in the way of general smoke give off as I would have expected with standard WP projectiles. Has anyone any idea what they are - or am I being particularly dim?!

Regards
