hello
I'm looking for infos about British supplies of 2 pounder ammunition to Italy during ww1.
I would like to know if possible what kind of ammunition were supplied. if only shells or cases or complete round.
I enclose some pics of my rounds.
the HE round has british made shell marked:
III
2pr
FS
V LTd C
3 - 15
on the oppostite many little markings included the broad arrow
case seems to be canadian but I think you could help me to right Id.
fuze it's italian made, marked SMI 3-1918 with italian acceptance marking.

the other SAP round it's full italian made, case and shell was made in 1918

in the last pics you could see a kind of shell with nose and base fuze. but i Don't know it it's an italian made shell or british made.
thanks in advance
best regards

best regards

Bugger!! Now I`m in another Q!!
Nice pics & very interested - not a lot of Italian stuff in my collection - yet!!

Fert - If you mean the case marked "MDCo", it was made by The Metal Drawing Company, St. Catherine's, Ontario, Canada.

Hi
I open this topic again to add a new case.
Nothing in particular, a SMI 18 case with English primer.
I hope someone can kindly provide information on the supplies of guns and ammunition to Italy.
Best regards
