Italian Black Smoke Bomb/pot

I came accross a few pyrotechnics/smoke bombs from late 1800 to early 1900. I have found a few in a Military Pyrotechnics book from 1920 but have not seen this or ones like it.

It translates to (according to goggle translate)
Pyrotechnic Laboratory
The Supreme Command
Daytime Rocket
Black Smoke

I haven't found anything about Italian pyrotechnics in the WWI era I believe this to be from.

It is about 2in in diameter and 8in in length. Wrapped in brown paper.

Comando Supremo (Supreme command) was the name of given to the General Staff of the Italian Military in war time - from 1915 to 1920 and 1941 to 1945.
It replaced in wartime the denomination "Stato Maggiore del Regio Esercito".
Therefore this term covers both ww1 and ww2 and you must look for articfacts in these two periods.
