Japanese 47mm fuze

View attachment 111502View attachment 111503View attachment 111504Like most people I have a few Japanese 47mm gun boat projectiles, none have fuzes. I have not seen one with one in! My question is, would the fuze in my picture be Correct for the Hotchkiss patent marked projectile in my other picture. It screws in ok. Cheers Tony.

I would say it's perfect ! I have the same fuzes but Winchester made under licence, yours is made in Paris. I think the same for
the EOC projectiles would have EOC on them and other wise be identical.

Gordon, as usual , is right. I have2 one Hotchkiss, the other Japanese and they are identical to yours.

Not easy to find the Paris base fuze, all I have are the Winchester examples intended for 37mm though the same as for the 47mm.
The EOC version must be very difficult and I need one for a 37mm likely the same size --- but threaded
in the opposite direction I think.
