Japanese 75mm

Enclosed are pics of a Japanese 75mm shell with an American 75mm solid shot projectile. I was surprised the projectile fit nicely as it did and it will have to do till I find a correct projectile for it. I traded a Japanese 25mm Naval shell and a WWI German trench art 77mm shell for it. I think the 75mm shell is harder to find so I did OK on the trade.

The dimensions of the M72 vs Jap AP are almost identical above the band - so it does make a great filler until you become the first person in the known universe to obtain a real one.
The shot drive band eliminates the different drive band issue.
I did the same thing + Jap paint job;

I hope to make some Jap 75 HEAT projectiles - they were almost identical to German HEAT. Just need to figure out how to make a mold to cast it from.
