This is the final resting place of John Paul Jones (born John Paul, Jones was added to mask his identity) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Paul_Jones. He had a very turbulent life. Did you know that he fought for the Russian Empire in the same place where Ukraine-Russia war is happening now? Did you know that he raped a 10 year old Russian-German girl (he said he thought she was 12) and almost lost his head (literally) over this? Anyhow, here is his crypt under USNA Chapel.

Just a general note to anyone posting photos. A recent change in the website limits you to about 1.5 MB per photo, if you want the viewer to see a preview. If you post a larger MB photo, the preview window will be greyed out. With this MB restriction, photo magnification is only 1 click, making it difficult for the viewer to magnify small details and written tags around an object.
