Hi, Here's a neat little key used with practice grenades to reset the plunger. The screwdriver type piece is used to turn the plunger and line it up with the lever. Cheers Colin

I think these were issued in the 50's and 60's. Not many seem to emerge so I don't think they are very common at all. Great find.

Hi, It is quite neat and very useful. I found it a few years ago and spoke to Dave Sampson about it. He had one also, so they were used over your side of the world as well. Each week during WW2 the army over here released a one pager on new ordnance related items that the troops may come across. A friend of mine was lucky enough view a folder of these sheets a few years back and took some photocopies. The photo attached is one of these photocopies and dates from WW2 (at least I don't think they were released post war). Cheers Colin

36 Tube tool.

Hello Kiwicolin,
Here's one I made earlier. I originally made it to remove stiff centre tubes, but the smaller rod which fits in the det tube, unscrews so that a screwdriver bit can be inserted in the hole in the large rod for turning the striker. I've not yet made the screwdriver bit as it seems to work fine with a little care when inserting the striker. It will probably end up as one of those jobs which, "I must do tomorrow"!
