Well-Known Member
Hi All. A while ago i purchased an inert Black Swiss HG85 grenade with the intention of repainting it as a British L109A2. heres a few pics showing the refurb from start to finish. i went to a local stamp manufacturers and they made the rubber stamp for me and supplied the yellow ink pad all for under 20.
cheers, paul.

There's just no end to your talents Paul, i just cannot find the grenades like you do now....... Dave

Nice job Paul,a bit of a variation on your bespoke rubber stamp which maybe helpful to others going down this route is, many moons ago when I was an insect there were printing kits,John Bull ect which were small rubber blocks with letters and numbers that you could make your own rubber name stamps ect, these do still turn up at boot sales and in junk shops for only a few squid.
