Heres a nice find from ebay.
Its a standard size ammo tin but for L2 grenades. All the ones we were issued with in the 90's came in round alloy tins inside a big wood crate. Ive not seen them issued in this size tin before. Anyone got any more info?
Paul.

bang container

I don't have any information but a terriffic find Paul. Would fit nicely into grenade display...Dano

The box is an H.83 but I cant see the clasp end to say if its a mk I or a mk II. I think I'm right in saying that all grenades now come in a H.83 mk II. Each type has its own distinct packaging ranging from a short cardboard tube and a long length of sturdy black foam to 2 blocks of polystyrene, top and bottom, to hold 6 smoke grenades.
