Hi everyone i'm after a little info, i've got a british L56 practice grenade body, and i've bought an L2 igniter head and lever off S/A thats supposed to fit but it seems like i need some kind of threaded adapter to join them.
Thanks

It should fit without any problems, Are the threads in the gren body damaged? you would need the correct blue lever to make it spot on though.
Cheers, Paul.

The lever i have is just silver, but there is no way of connecting the two together. the grenade body has a hole a with coarse thread and the fuze body has a hole with a fine thread. in your picture it looks like theres a brass ring between the body and the igniter, i think thats what im missing. Heres a pic of the fuze i have.

I know exactly what you mean. The fuze should have a threaded collar piece that screws into the bottom of the fuze and holds the det, this then threads into the grenade body. I don't have any left though. Your probably better off looking for another fuze as they seem to come together the majority of the time. I saw that fuze on SA quite a while back as I needed one to complete another grenade. I held off buying it for this reason, it is not complete ad I have never seen the collar sold seperatly.
I'm sure someone will have one. I would imagine that the collar is part of the fuze assembly, and for no reason would have been seperated.
