L5A4 Baton round

I have a case for the L5A4 baton round.

Am I correct that this should have the cylindrical baton made from the tan coloured hard rubber material?

I have one of these batons loose that could go in the case.

Also, how far out of the case (if at all) should the top of the baton be?

Hello.
The cream coloured one is correct and the projectile should fit flush with the case.
