late WW1 French FI fuze??

late WW1 French FI grenade fuze??

Here is a picture of a French WWI fuze for the FI grenade identified on the web-site where I found it as the "M1918 Brandt automatic side plug igniter" The web-site goes on to state that it was the last FI fuze used at the very end of WWI (1918) and was not replaced until the M1935 fuze came out. Can't seem to find reference to this particular fuze in the Delhomme book. The "coolability" factor on this one is way up there as it just has "the look" if you know what I mean. ANY information anyone may be able to provide would be GREATLY appreciated. Basicly I am trying to confirm that this fuze was actually used in late WWI or not........Dano

Hi dano
It is a french fuze made by polish BG, buy by french army in 1935, and use late of 2 WW. It was obsolete during 1980's. Never use in the 1 WW!
best regards
