There is a large Cube standing not far away from the Arche de Triomphe in Paris, this is Cube's story https://www.imdb.com/title/tt32398150/. If you watch BBC, you'll see this Cube during intermissions. So this movie is in French, Danish and English. Why Danish? you ask..Because the architect was a Dane. Here is where we are probably going to disagree. That time the sitting French President Mitterrand was hell bent on distroying Paris' beautiful landmarks. He already installed ugly pyramids in Louvre, so he decided to waste more money and spoil Champs Elysees view. This movie covers that event, well made and acted.
PS. I never visited Paris. My view is that the Louvre plaza is not just an empty space, it is an integral part of the building design. If it is not so, then we might as well put a McDonald's in St. Peter's square. Or I can scribble on DaVinci's drawings.....
