Hear are a couple of my restoration projects.
Lucky for me an SD50 came along with an SC500
The 500 needs some heavy restoration but will possibley
renew the centre section.

I have an SC250 on the way which is in far better condition
and will make a nice addition.

Hi Waff

The fuse locking rings came of after a good soaking in WD.
That fuse had been in a long time and had reacted inside.
Horrible oozy gunk was in the fuse pocket and to be honest i thought it might have been stuck.
It is a Eliaz 55 which i am not sure if it was used in that size bomb.
but the 500 is dated june 40 and little fella is oct 40 so prime dates.
The 500 took a nose dive out of the sling just after that picture was taken
but we had already stuck a couple of tyres under her.
looking forward to seing your SD.

Regards Satan

Very nice, looks like the 500 was practiced on for steaming. Will look a grand piece when completed. Keep us posted.
