"Police are investigating the discovery of what appeared to be a live grenade at a mobile home park in Tempe (Arizona, USA) Tuesday.
Montecito Mobile Home Estates is located on University Drive east of Dobson Road.
According to Lt. Mike Pooley of the Tempe Police Department, maintenance workers discovered the grenade while clearing the backyard of a trailer.
The workers took the grenade to the park's front office. The office was then evacuated.
Pooley said the trailer outside which the grenade was found belonged to a man who died a week ago.
He also said it looked like the grenade had "been out there awhile."
Tempe's EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) unit was called to the scene to deal with the grenade."
