Just picked this lot of WW1 projectiles up. I think it is all WW1, need help with ID. Any help would be great. And any idea of value would be great. I paid 40. for everything.

The blue and red one is repainted, and has a odd fuze not sure if it is correct?

The one that is a little rusty has a odd fuze? Maybe a gas shell? Not sure.

Thanks.221.jpg222.jpg223.jpg224.jpg225.jpg226.jpg227.jpg228.jpg

Without dimensions, and not my specilaty(!) looks like;

1st pic, case looks like German 77mm Krupp, 2rd proj.french? 3rd proj ,British 15pr and last case/proj., German 77mm,possibly with British/US projectile.

All WW1 types , and i'd say a steal for $40!

Yep, that's a US 75m shrapnel shell stuck in a German case. Nice bunch of WW1 items for only $40.

On number 1, what is the headstamp on the case? Also, what is the length of the case by itself? It could be a 75mm or a 3" Shrapnel, either one.

More pictures of the items. With tape measure to show size of items.

The one shell looks German but the other one is US or British.

Do the fuzes look correct on the projectiles? The one with the holes in the fuze, does anyone have any info on that style fuze? And why it looks like it does?

but your french fuze is a 22-31 Mle. 1897 fuze (for shrapnells). The fuze on your link is for HE shells, but basic function is the same.

Both of your german cases are for the 7,7 cm Feldkanone 96 n/A.

The "AWDr" case is made by the "Artilleriewerkstatt Dresden" (Artillery Arsenal Dresden)
