Luftmine destroyed.

Today Dutch EOD techs have destroyed a luftmine in the Markermeer. The luftmine was found in Amsterdam harbor (IJ) and the guess how it got there is that it rolled of a barge at the end of ww2, when demolitian works where carried out by the
German forces.

It was found while dredging and put back in the water to prepare it for demolitian.

:) That should be a anti static blancket. And the plan was also to fill it up with some kind of expanding foam to seize up inner parts. Don be means of a diver.
