M14 mine

Previous owner told me that this was made in the Soviet union as a classroom example. Can anybody confirm that?

It could be.... that is a classic Soviet color...

From a website on the M14:

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]The mine is usually coloured olive green. Other colours are reported (black and pale green)[/FONT]

just my 2 cents.... there are others smarter than me that may have a US one to compare.
