M152 i - 1943

Hi Ed, good to see you here....glad you picked up a few items at the Ottawa show, bought a 12 pound and a 24 pound dug cannonballs.

Very slow show, I won't be doing that one again!!!

M152 I Box

The show was okay for me as I live close, although as a rule, I never travel more than two hours for any show as I cannot justify the expenditure in time and fuel.

The black paint on the box was an attempt to cover over the labels and the grey an even lesser attempt to cover the stencils.
 
Another Mine Box

Recently I came to own a box similar to Ed's but without the M152 stamping in the lid. I'm assuming it's the same but correct me if I'm wrong. There is, what I'm guessing is a manufacturers stamp on the upper left part of the lid, that looks like ETC/C. Can anyone decipher this and tell me where it was made. Thanks.

i have the same but it is a dug up thanks to these images i know the whole text what is stencilled on the crate.
what does BSMS/c stands for?
also have another crate like this ,but no stencils vissible anymore only AT MINE and bsms/s 1943 pressed in the lid.
are the both used by brittish and canadian army?
