Does anyone know of reproduction decal for the German WW1 m1915 discus grenade. I have a discus in transit that is in pretty good shape and was just wondering if repro decals can be found? Dano
Do you mean the paper label that is glued on the side?
If so heres a copy i made. Just print it off cut it out and glue it on. A coat of varnish will stop the ink rubbing off
Cheers, Paul.
I've got one with a different sort of decal. Mine came from a museum many years ago, they had made a decision to dump all of their ordnance after an accident. Before turning it over for destruction they gave me this piece as a gift. As far as I've ever known everything that held by them was original with original markings. The amount of wear and the finish looks about right, but until this thread I'd never seen the label to compare it to before. Is there more than one type?
