m1917 n/A German egg grenade mold 1

Very nice Baldari.
Dano very nice also.I have a question for you,one of my first grenades in my collection was a WW1 German egg,it had a shipping fuse, the interesting thing about it is it had a leather sock, for no better words,I allways beleived it was to keep the static electricty down.Because as you no a lot of the early stuff would go off making the hole shipment to go up.
What do you think?
I no longer have it ,I sold it to pay hospital cost when i first got sick, but I sold it to a good friend and could possibly get a picture of it if you need to see it.

Yes Vinny, would love to see a picture of that as I myself have never seen nor heard of such a thing. Sounds very interesting...Dano

A most excellent selection of egg grenades and accessories. I particularly like the plate at the back for fast pulling of the friction fuzes.
Many thanks for showing us Baldari.
