Does anyone know if the U.S ever had a M22A2 BLUE smoke rifle grenade?

Someone told me that there was a blue one, but I cannot find anything about it in any of the books I have. or maybe I am just missing something.

Hello,

In the documentation issued by our EOD school, it is said thait in the begening there were 4 colours RED, GREEN, YELLOW and VIOLET (but not blue) and that this last color was abandoned after a while. I have no bibliographic references for this.

Regards,

S.

Yes those are the colors I also have. Researching back as far as I can, I have found nothing on a blue version. This might just be an old word of mouth issue. So I thought I would look.

I heard the same thing a while back, am pretty sure after talking with them the color was violet they saw.

No blue that I can find from going back to 1942. This includes "Streamers" and "Impact". Did find out however they did make one HC and assuming this one was white.
