Just some pictures to share with you about a M24. No idea about where it is coming from ?
Maybe a museum or something like this.
Note that on top of the head, there is a piece of wood which should have been paste to a wall .

Very nice professional cut - with the numbers being positioned the way they are it looks like it was meant to be stood upon the wooden base, which is mounted to the head.
Very nicely and professionally done, but not very old however. Wooden stick shows markings from being in a carry rack for a longer time and the metal parts also show some corrosion.
