Pretty elaborate fake lemon (l)next to my M26 (r).
that I get the other day. I really had no idea the length that someone would go to screw people. Guess Dad as right, "If something looks to good to be true, it probably is!" I hate when I have to learn some lessons more than once! This one was kinda expensive! Tell ya though it made me look at some of the things I was selling some guys here in the states. I had made some M67's & M26's & M18's & sold them on another (US) forum. I was PERFECTLY clear these were replicas used when ya wouldn't wanna display the real thing, or re-enactments or whatever, & they were priced like replicas. They were however, VERY high grade replicas. I NEVER thought about what could happen with these things after I sent them off. We'll I finally understand why most of this forum feels pretty strongly about altering our grenades in ANY way. As evident in recent posts, I did not fully subscribe to this opinion. I understand that even when I do something with the best intentions, the next guy might not. We live & learn. I no longer make/alter grenades.
