Hi, Can anyone tell me who I.A. & F co. were. These initials are stamped on the base of an recently acquired No80 Mk 4 A Fuse. Any help much appreciated as always.

Maker of No.80 Mk 4 a fuse help needed...

International Arms & Fuze Co. Inc of New York. Their factory, or one of them, was in Bloomfield, NJ.
It would appear they took the manufacture of the No. 80 fuze very seriously. They produced a 64 page hardback book (with photographs) for their fuze inspectors covering every aspect of the fuze, operation and manufacture.
