I'm trying to replicate some C.238 boxes to represent 6 pdr ammunition. Can anyone tell me who made 6 pdr, 7cwt, gun AP ammunition and their code letters during WWII.

Not sure I understand the question who made 6pr AP, my understanding of typical WWII fixed rounds is that factory A made the primer, Factory B made and put the composition in it, factory C made the case, factory D made the propellant, factory E made the projectile, factory F made the tracer compound and put it in the cavity, a final assembley of the parts took place at factory G who stencilled the case as appropriate and packed it to go to store and then the front line. So who made it? as each company had their own stampings and markings. I have listed makers marks (typical 6pr) for each item of metal work and some have the full address if this is of any help. Or maybe someone out there can put me right if the above rambling is a load of ****.

No Ramblings 2 Pounder you are perfectly correct in what you say as in wartime any factory that could produce munition items was put to work immediately !
Certain factories had their own specialities as a result of the type of machinery they had to start with, others made small components of a wide variety.
Not forgetting the "Royal Ordnance Factories" either as they did have their own field of expertise and machinery to go with it.
So it is very possible that one type of 57 mm 6Pounder projectile may have been made by literally dozens of factories all with their own "Trade mark" or stamp identification.

Now I'm looking for the markings to stencil on the box.
I have a reference to QF Fixed (that's right isn't it?) but I have some questions.
1. Is this the right thing for 6pr AP as used in North Africa/Italy and Nornandy?
2. What are the details in red boxes.
