Hi all,
We have a french "Grenade main fumigne 56" (GR MA FUM 56) in perfect state, in his sealed container coming out of manufacturor.
The lot number is 30.A.89
Wich french manufacturor is A ?

Most likely 'Audenar et Guyon, Dole, France'.

The attached page with the code comes from "Repertoire des sigles ateliers - Forces armes franaises - 1987"

No idea of they're still active or not, or that a new society uses the "A" as code....

That list i have (total 188 pages of French factory/mfg codes) came from a "pre-ilias" era computer, and i can't tell how up to date it was in 1987
 
The letter "A" is the code for the Poudrerie d'Angouleme (group SNPE). This company manufactured pyrotechnic composition and powder until 2013.
