Melting Glacier Reveals World War I Ammunition

Additional information and photos. Over 200 pieces. Looking at the pictures it appears much more than that.

Remembered seeing a similar amount on another Italian glacier some years ago. EOD tried blowing the ammo up on the spot
but with higher peaks all around you with plenty of ice and snow on them this was not such a good idea, so they stopped
this and simply left the stuff on the glacier. New local law, implemented some years back, forbid you to take anything from
the glacier, even the smallest item.
