Here are two containers for 1oz Primers, the upper is for Guncotton for Naval use, the other Composition Exploding for general demolitions etc. The paper wrapped "primers" indicate training use some time after 3/45, the filling date of the container itself.

CE Primers dating from WW2 were still in operational use in the 1980s used with No 27 (igniferous) or No 33 (electric) detonators. They were superceded by det cord and L series detonators.
