I have recently acquired another 20mm round for the ever growing collection but I am curious to know what the yellow/brown and blue/grey colouring means ?

Thank you Blackwatch you beat me to it, here is a picture to show the correct case for your projectile and how it looked with a little more paint. If you are interested in collecting 2cm German cannon rounds then have a look at this thread below, it gets quite addictive there are alot to aquire if you want the whole set. Still working on that one myself, may have a chane in another 20 years.
Depending on the way the base of the projectile is shaped, it could be either naval 2 cm FlaK (APT-HE-SD) or 2 cm FlaK Madsen (same) The naval FlaK shell would have a straight tail, though shorter than HEER and LWAFFE issue, the Madsen a short tail with pronounced crimping groove. Both used the Iz43.
