Mills plug No.5 I.D

....of Bourton, Dorset.

The plug is an alloy of Lead and antimony. Used for a few months because of the shortage of brass in 1916 through to early 1917 when cast iron took over.

Apologize, I don't have correctly make a control of the others Mills plug in lead P1190235.jpgin my collection, I have found another one from E.S.H & Sons but another variant, better marked
