Mills pull rings

I've got a couple of No. 36s that are by all that Ive been able to gather (Thanks BOCN grenade guys) original. My question concerns the pull rings. None of my pull rings look the same.
Is this a manufacturing option? Some are split,( resembling a key ring) another solid. and one resembles US MK II ring.
Sorry no pics at posting time, will add when Im back at home.

Tim. The solid brazed ring & the split ring were both used in WW1 & WW2 . They never had rings like the US ones . Mike.

Roger that! That one did seem to be odd. Ya know how most times ya can tell when something just doesn't "go with" the rest of the piece even though it could be of a different material or finish, or whatever, it just doesn't "look" like it's seen what the rest of the piece has.
Thanks Mike!
