Mine ??? identification

I have this solid lump of metal which appears to be some sort of training mine,can someone confirm this and if it is a mine which type it is representing.

Hi Allan you have a British shrapnel mine the inner bit that jumps out of the ground. If you ever thing of selling it let me know.
