Nice to get a Mk I shell and early fuze (Mk I, II or III) too. I can’t read the date on the shell though.
interestingly the No. 1 Mk I primer appears to have been converted to a Mk I*, which would usually be the same as a Mk II of new manufacture. But a Mk I has an external push in primer, and a Mk II was pressed in internally?

It's 2 / 7 / 06 on the projectile (I've had it a few years) and VSM.80.1. 6/c.7/06 on the fuze, another fuze is ;VS&M .80.1.12/c. 8/06
The fuzes show up every now and again over here.
When was the change to the MKll case? Why the crimped case was discontinued for that awful what ever it's called style I'll never
understand. Did the 13pr go through the same change ?
Mk11 18Pr cases were approved in August 1914. I have two reference headstamps . Only the Mk 1 cases have the 4 crimps. Mk11 are coned into the groove.
18Pr 11 K 1914 18 2 15
18Pr 11 COW 1914 21 2 15
13Pr 6cwt Mk11 cases have 4 crimps.
13Pr 9cwt depended on the projectile type. HE had 4 crimps. Shrapnel could be coned or 4 crimps for the Mk11 case. It gets confusing. I hope this helps you.
