Mk. II Grenade for opinions

Hi everyone! I picked up this MKII grenade and wanted to get opinions on its originality. I believe it is labeled AF for American Fireworks. Not sure what "E" means. Hoping everything is correct and original period.

It does kind of lean a bit at some angles from uneven grinding on the bottom, so that's not the photo. :)

Surprisingly heavy at 533 grams all together, minus the explosives and percussion cap of course.

Thanks for your time!

I've had several MKII from various makers with a bad case of the "leans" and all were, like yours , very nice original examples.

Thanks guys for the feedback!

I guess they must not have had our shelves in mind when making these then. Someone told me they use O rings under cloth to get their grenades to stand up better. Works really well with round bottom versions I hear.

So not only a grenade in good condition, but also a rare and somehow exceptional original fuze. Great !
And by the way: very nice photos. Thanks for showing !

Best Regards
