MK1 Grenade in trench

This is a British trench captured by the Germans according to the photo. I had to edit it. There is clearly however a MK1 grenade shown just sitting there.

Ok, I am either more blind than I first thought, or could be that you can't see the trees becuase of the forest(?) Can somebody help and old guy out?

I struggled too mate. My eyes are pretty bad now. I had to get to about 2" from the screen to see it.

Just beyond it is what looks like a canvas bag with the handle of another sticking out. Neat.

I thought it was Stokes with a bit of cloth on it. Eye test due.
