Some more pics from my Oz trip.
Some destroyed mustard gas bombs and bomb transit case and rings.
The mustard bombs where destroyed at the end of the war by servicemen wearing shorts(it is 40c temps in the N.T.)and gas masks on one side of the airstrip,and firing .303s to pierce the casings! hope the wind didn't change.

quite amazing photos there, looks like it was a few months ago, not 60 years! with climate here in UK, there would be nothing left by now.

remains of a 250lb mustard/phosgene bomb as garden ornament,sure beats gnomes!

Hi Bob,
I'm sure you would have enjoyed listening to Doc talking about the Japanese bombing raids on both Fenton and Long airfields.
Great to see your pictures showing some of the relics left over from the war.
I'm sure your enjoyed his display cabinet items, as well.
