Museum of Craftsmanship, Carlsbad, CA

This is a museum subsidized by a small scale tool manufacturer called Sherline Co. 1932 Duesenberg is the only thing the museum owns, everything else is on loan. This is the museum of miniatures not models (even though there are several models inside). Model is a scaled down item which does not function. Miniature is a scaled down item which DOES function exactly like the real object. Notice a split exhaust pipe of Duesenberg. One side is regular exhaust, another is a manual overide of exhaust for racing purposes. Back lights are not red and say "STOP" like the real thing. All spokes are threaded and adjustable like real old tyres. Cool place to see. Here are military highlights. The race car at the end is made from internal parts of hard drives.
