My No18 restoration project

Hi everyone this is the No18 I’m going to start restoring this week . I was wondering if anyone has a spare end cap or a det holder left around that they would be willing to sell to help towards completion. I already have a reproduction handle snd streamers that need ageing and finishing . I will post pics of the progress in due time

Hi Shaun, nice project to get stuck into, I'll be interested to see the finished result.

Are you sure its a number 18 cap you're after and not a cap for a number 1 mk 3?

Number 18 grenades are insanely rare (possibly only 100 were ever made) so getting hold of a cap for one may take a very long time.

Hi Dave yes you’re correct I need a No1 mk3 end cap . You must be a mind reader I was told to contact you you may be able to point me in the right direction for an end cap . I was going to message tomorrow In the book it says that the No1mk3 were only sectioned examples the complete ones were then numbered No18. That’s how it sounds to me from the book . Unless I’ve read it wrong lol I do wear glasses .Ive started rebuilding the frags as they were a mess I’m just taking my time with it doing a bit each night bud . I’m going to make a move to bed talk soon bud
